COCOA BEACH, FL

The Salty Sweet Pro/Am, even though only on it’s 5th year,  is one of the largest women’s surf events in the country. The event earned Eastern Surf Magazine’s “Best New Contest” award in 2014 and has shown consistent growth since then. This year, is sure to be even larger as the event is supported by Florida’s Space Coast Office of Tourism through it’s Sports Marketing Program. Spectators are welcome.

This all female event offers a $4,000 cash prize for both longboarders and shortboarders. There will be 13 amateur divisions from ages 6 & Under to 50 & Up.  The Salty Sweet Pro/Am is the largest women’s only professional surf contest in the state of Florida and 2nd largest on the East Coast! Hosted by the Cocoa Beach Pier, the contest starts at 9am on Saturday October 13, 2018 and concludes with finals and awards ceremony on Sunday October 14, 2018. Admission is free for spectators.
