This labor day weekend kicked off the 2018 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, FL. And if you missed it, for real… You “Missed It”! This was an amazing weekend of family fun, music, events, and expos. It also just happened to be our first time experiencing this annual family affair. We had a blast and on that note we want to thank Tom Joyner and Allstate for having us attend this years ATJFR and for showing us a such a fantastic time. Special thanks also goes out to Steglich Ross and Associates, GGR Marketing & PR, Bronze Kingdom, and Caribbean American Passport Magazine. Good times! We are already looking forward to next year.

Ricky Padilla -Star 94.5 FM

Although this was a star studded weekend, one of the most anticipated performances this year was Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD). The show took place in the resorts grand Osceola Ballroom and it was a packed house with standing room only. For those of you who couldn’t be there and those of you in the back of the ballroom that couldn’t get to the front, no worries. We got you covered! Check out the gallery below for a close up and personal look at all the electricity that came off the stage this past Saturday night.

Kicking off the night was Orlando’s own Ricky Padilla of Star 94.5 FM, who passed the torch to Comedian Damon Williams from the Tom Joyner Morning Show (TJMS). Next up was the always hilarious Rickey Smiley, who brought the house down before bringing out the “Fly Jock” himself, Mr. Tom Joyner. After a quick cameo by Cheryl Harris, the Senior Vice President, Procurement at Allstate Insurance, DJ Shakim set it off and then BBD hit the stage. At this point the party was officially on and the roof went missing (figuratively speaking of course).
