Pointe Orlando on International Drive has been named the Official Hula Bowl Fan Fest location for a new event on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. Free for football fans on Friday, January 12, 2024

Hula Bowl Fan Fest at Pointe Orlando is free and open to the public for fans of all ages to embrace the Aloha Spirit of Hawaii and enjoy:

  • Celebrity, NFL coach, and 2024 all-star player appearances and activations
  • Interactive photo opportunities and experiences
  • Food & beverage offerings from Pointe Orlando restaurants and bars
  • Mascot appearance by Koa to lead a traditional Haka ceremonial dance
  • A chance to win access to a Play with the Players private event

The 78th annual Hula Bowl returns to Orlando as the nation’s premier college football all-star game where NFL, XFL, USFL, and CFL teams will be represented by top scout players. 100 of the top senior athletes, from across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan, will be selected to play at the Hula Bowl in Orlando on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at UCF FBC Mortgage Stadium.

Previous Hula Bowl players include Heisman Trophy winners Ricky Williams, Eric Crouch, Jim Plunkett, Tony Dorsett, Mike Garrett, Johnny Rogers, and Billy Sims. In addition to these stars of the past, the Hula Bowl has also had recent alumni fulfill their dreams of playing at the professional level. Former players include Sean Clifford, Kader Kohou, Alex Ward, and current Super Bowl champion, Isiah “Pop” Pacheco.

The new Hula Bowl Fan Fest is the latest in the official sporting event lineup at Pointe Orlando to include the Pop-Tarts Bowl official pep rally scheduled for Dec. 27 and the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl official pep rally scheduled for Dec. 31.

About the Hula Bowl

Established in 1946, the game has witnessed collegiate greats as they competed for the roster spots in the NFL, CFL, XFL, and USFL. Many of the athletes have gone on to successful professional careers as players and coaches, as well as sports commentators and analysts. Over the past 78 years, the game has hosted a multitude of Heisman Trophy winners and NFL Hall of Fame players.

The Hula Bowl was historically played in Honolulu, Hawaii, but the closing of Aloha Stadium prompted a move to Orlando, Florida in 2022. With a multi-year agreement to present the game at the University of Central Florida at FBC Mortgage Stadium.
